Dr. Ashley Cross
Ashley Cross is the Director of Technology at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School, host of international learning event Miami Device. Her research interests include K-12 Makerspaces, computational thinking, and women in STEM. Cross is a Google Certified Innovator as well as a STAR Discovery Educator. Liz is a teacher of 4 year olds at the Elisabeth Morrow School. Veteran of early childhood who believes in the value of 3 dimensional, open ended, experiential activities.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Liz Beck is an art therapist turned web designer and ed tech enthusiast. A deep believer in the power of the creative process to facilitate learning, she oversees Hamlin’s maker spaces as well as the K-8 making and digital citizenship curriculum. She teaches the Grade 7-8 Design Elective and works with the Hamlin community to ensure the successful use of online classrooms. Liz is also a member of the 2016/2017 ATLIS ECATD program
