On April 25th, at the ATLIS (#ATLISac) annual conference, I moderated a panel called “Makerspaces: Moving Beyond the Hype”. Makerspaces offer so much to schools from putting design thinking into action to entrepreneurialism to hands-on fun. This panel was an opportunity to bring together great educators to present with and learn from. I collaborated with Liz Beck, Ashley Cross, Tatyana Griffin and Leigh Northrup, who their firsthand knowledge about makerspaces. We focused on our goals we have for our makerspaces and what curriculum we include. We have pooled our resources on this site and you’ll find everyone’s info under About Us pages.
